About me:
Hi Friends, Here is short description of myself -
|
I am a B.Tech.(Mechanical Engineering), MBA(IIM-Calcutta), PhD
(Business Management), Fulbright Fellow (Michigan State University,
Michigan, USA).
I am 6 feet tall, physically fit and blessed to have a sportsman
physique. I am a voracious reader (fiction and non-fiction both),
movie buff (mostly Hollywood), fitness-freak, love travelling and a
stimulating conversation on a range of topics & music. My friends
describe me as intelligent, witty, sincere and a good
conversationalist.
We are a small, nuclear family of well educated professionals, doctors
and engineers settled in India and US. I live with my widowed mother
at our ancestral farmhouse at Haldwani, District: Nainital,
Uttarakhand. My late father was a Professor.
Presently, I am working as a Professor of Marketing . Before joining academics, I worked with leading
MNCs and Indian companies.
In my partner, I am looking for a great friend before even thinking of
a wife. I guess it means cerebral compatibility, joie-de-vivre,
spontaneity, mutual respect and sense of humour. We are principally
against dowry.
Divorce has been an unfortunate and emotionally draining part of my
life. However, I want to pick up the threads once again and give
future my best shot. As I write this mail with little embarrassment
and shyness ( I must confess this), I remember this line from the
Oscar winning movie "Shawshank Redemption" wherein Andy Dufresne says
to Red ,"Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things,
and no good thing ever dies." I too hope I will meet a life-partner
who will help both of us explore our respective best.
